college life

so i was waiting to update about college when i was in a better mood - which i am :) The first few days were rough, not because I was homesick, but because Campbell is really boring and they have really bogus rules and such.  I guess I like it better.  I still wish I was at a bigger place - in a town, but there's no need to whine anymore about it because I'm stuck here until next year anyway.  Asia and I moved in on Saturday.  We're still touching up the room and all but it looks pretty spiffy.  My TV is a nice touch [it's like the only form of entertainment haha]  I have Hannah hooked on the OC and Megan has season 2 so we've like om 56 episodes at our disposal :)  We're starting Grey's Anatomy this afternoon. [Told you there was nothing to do around here ...]

Sunday matt came to see me :) and we snuck him in the dorm by saying he was bringing in "boxes" haha [boys aren't allowed until like september 4th which is so stupid, but whatever] * Then the next few days were filled with activities to force us to interact with people and talk to professors, advisors, and such.  Tuesday I went to state to see Brittany and her husband ;) and to see the room of matt and brooks at UT - way too much wolfpack memorabilia.  Then matt and me went to crabtree, then met brooks, howe, john, and lee back here to see Chairmen of the Board - which was rained out and everybody got soaked because we decided to walk around the entire campus for no reason ... not that it's that big, but it was still raining so yeah.

Classes started yesterday.  All is well there because well, we haven't done anything.  Today I got out of class an hour early for no reason.  today shall be a good day, minus the fact that I have to do laundry.  I'd take it home to mom, but I'm trying to prove that I can do something on my own now.  Speaking of mom - this made me smile :)

Moving Out*

Ok so I'm leaving as soon as dad decides he's ready because he has total king of the house man control and all.   I can't believe I'm in college already and I'm really nervous/sad/excited -- im an emotional basket case.  SO much has gone wrong this week .. from my lap top to my car to my parentals being all wacko.  I thought I could get away from here without getting upset but it's really sinking in.  I want to go to college, but I love my little hometown [yes i said town matt - bite me haha] -- not that Buies Creek is really much bigger ... but yeah.  This may sound weird but my cat came in my room and laid with me last night and now she's on my clothes - it's like she knows I'm leaving.  Oh well maybe someone will miss me :)

Last weekend I went to the beach with the other johnson clan and it was awesome.  Lots of late-night uno, lucky charm pig outs, trips to the store to replinish the mountain dew supply, several stabs at those hiddeous "man clogs" aka crocs .. and so much more.  Went to see talladega nights again with brooks, woody, audrey, JL, michael, and some kid lol -- and then brooks, JL, and Woody came one night to eat shrimp that the mellon man stephen parker cooked .. for three hours.  Even if I drove matt crazy as I was looking for a decent bathing suit admist a pile of GARBAGE, we had so much fun - even during Uno when JL and me kicked his butt :) haha sorry I have to brag since you picked on my checkers skills!!

Sunday night the ladies had a "final for now" grey's anatomy party.  It was nice to kick back with everyone and talk about girl stuff - aka gossip lol :) I think everyone's planning to continue the tradition at their respective schools, which I think is awesome!  We shall have a reunion though :)

Monday night I went to see Step Up with abs, kim, and em c // twas a lovely time despite the fact that I dumped out the entire top half of my popcorn bag [you know - the buttery part lol]  So is the dude gay or not?  I really need to know lol

Wednesday was my last day at work.  They gave me a surprise party - but really they did a bad job because I knew it was coming when I saw everyone shuffling around and hiding and mess.  So when someone came and told me to go to the conference room [where everyone was posted up ready to yell surprise and then pig out on my cake] I went to the bathroom for a good amount of time and made them wait lol -- that's what you get for trying to pull a fast one.  However, I'm going to miss that place - mainly the money, but you know the deal.

Last night - hang on I want to list everyone's name so I can test myself [its hard remembering the idiots haha] Matt, Brooks, Woody, JL, Stephen[s], Reed, Matt H, Joey, David, and maybe some more whoops sorry -- along with me, kim, and audrey went to see "Accepted" which was a good fit for this weekend since everyone [minus the underclassmen] are starting college.  It was funny.

So there's my week as I still sit here waiting for my dad - as mom lectures in the background.  I'd just like to thank everybody for the wonderful memories and letting me snap a camera in your face 24/7 lol.  I hope you all are having the best of time at school / good luck moving in and everything.  Keep in touch and I'll miss you so very much <3

To the girls -- I know we've had a turbulent couple of months.  Let's blame estrogen.  I love you all with all of my heart and hope you each find a hot stud [Brittany - is yours next door? lol] -- I expect updates and lots of pictures =) And don't plan anything around the 18th of September because you know .. I turn 18 on the 18th hehehe :)

Zack - good luck dude.  Stick with it and enjoy chick-fil-a when you get it =) I miss you and everytime I see a red truck I expect to see you hanging out of your window or you yelling into your speaker, but its not.  Don't worry - the hood will me in good hands.  I am the texas ranger and all ...

Matt - I know this week would have been so bad without you here to be all calm and understanding.  It seems like yesterday we were sniffing body wash at target and playing x-box 360 lol.  It's been the best three months of my life and I love you so very much.  Thanks for the memories - and I know there will be many more to come <3

i can't believe im bored enough to keep doing this.  let's seeee - friday i forced matt to watch the chrismukah episode of the oc because of my sudden christmas spirit.  i mean - adam brody in a reindeer sweater that matches my reindeer robe ... what more could you want? =) Saturday went to the Children's Home in Middlesex with matt & zack for our youth conference. It was really hot outside and the games were lame, but it wasn't so bad.  The Johnsons had to battle for the right to navigate. TROOPER! haha // Then we left and found our way back to Smithfield to eat at Outback - of course we had to eat at the bar or we would have had to wait forever and we didn't have much time.  So that forced me to watch the heartbreaking UNC loss in the college world series again.  Then we met up with Brittany, Kim and Abby to see Talladega nights, which was halarious - especially the inclusion of many inside jokes like lucky charms haha =) Now Matt and Zack can't stop yelling Magic Man and El whatever that chicken word was haha.  Abby brought back these cool little dolls from the bahamas that bend and mine's doing a booty dance on my shelf.  Yesterday I cleaned out a bunch of stuff to get rid of before I leave for Campbell, then I went to Matts to be lazy because thats how we do.  Watched Madison beat Reed up, a couple of SNL dvds, part of Van Wilder because Ryan Reynolds is SO fine hehe, and the Christmas episode of Venture Brothers [Matt's retaliation for the OC thing haha] =) Then Zack and Robbie came over cause nothing was really going on and we all piled around to watch V for Vendetta which wasn't my type of movie, but it was pretty good.  "He's not dead - He's smiling" haha - leave it to rob.  And that's about it - except for my idiot self locking my keys in my car, which i feel really bad about =(  I've gotta be a little more aware of things gosh.

ok so camping.  Is Saturday ok with everyone?  I know abby is going to be extremely tired so if it's not, then it is ok =) Mom thinks that its going to be too hot to camp but I mean we're not going all "woodsy" or anything.  I mean I'm hooking up the TV outside so we can watch the oc while we camp lol

I have the tent - extension cords lol - and i think theres two air matresses, but I'm not sure.  So I guess it can be "byosb" [bring your own sleeping bag ;)]  I'll stock up on drinks [since I only have dew] and the necessities for s'mores.  Can anyone think of anything else I need to do or we need to address?  Leave a comment and this can be like an offical "Campapalooza Headquarters" lol // I feel important =)

- clerks II is funny.  go see it, but if you're like an animal rights activist or have a general love for donkies, don't. ;)  haha right kim?
- i have a pen that stands on a suction cup.  I stuck it to this bald guy's head at work and it stayed there haha.  I was amazed.
- There are construction workers outside my office window ;) he he he ... But I can't enjoy them because I'm too busy kicking drooling middle-aged women out of here.  And teenagers are the hormonal sex-crazed ones?! holy moses!
- I'm really ready for Christmas dang it.  What's odd is that my craving for Christmas began on July 25th - exactly 6 months away from Christmas.  I think that's kinda spiffy.
- I used to have this hard core crush on lance bass .....
- Beach music makes me happy :o)
- My picture is in the Smithfield Herald and I look like drunk chinese chick.
- I'm super excited about decorating my dorm! =D  It's going to be classy.
- If I had my time back, I would have walked across the street to the police station and turned Zack in dang it!  What was I thinking?!

tired of planning!

Ok so maybe I'll be serious for once.  I guess I just have a lot on my mind.  Last night Asia and me went dorm shopping.  At first it was a nightmare because you know me, I've got a whole theme I'm going for and everything has to be perfect.  Asia didn't like the comforter I had picked out, but once I got to looking, I decided it was kinda ugly too lol.  If we did find one that completed the "look" we were going for, it was only available in queen or king of course!  BUT - we succeeded and now we have bed stuff [Egyptian Satin as well - yes I just want to roll in it for hours] =) Plus I got a $35 clock on sale for $8 .. after carrying it around for a while to make sure it completed "the look" of course.  Bought some picture frames because none of mine can go.  They don't complete "the look."  Yes - I'm obsessive. 

The real adventure came after purchasing our fridge.  See we had to have a bigger one than everyone else's because I eat a lot .. and need a lot of drinks [ie dew] SO its almost too big to be put in our dorm [according to the code of crap the campbell people sent] but its going reguardless.  Then the dude that loaded it in my car was like "Is you trippin?" once he saw that my car is an eclipse and he had to fit it in there lol.  So there was mom and Asia all cool in the front, and me crammed in the back [seats pulled down for the fridge]  Basically I laid in the trunk with my Egyptian Satin comforter, as well as Asia's, all of our bags, and a bag of picture frames in my butt for the most uncomfortable ride down I-40 EVER!

So yeah I'm not done buying everything yet, but I think I'm pretty good to go.  I just want to decorate anyway.  Forget simple cleaning supplies and hygienic necessities.  Wait - I did get the coolest broom/sweeper thing ever.  It's for lazy people =D =D

Ok so I'm just really tired of planning out everything.  I feel like life is just a life of planning for something that's ahead of us.  You can't enjoy today if you're always looking ahead.  It's like, if you're driving down the road and look a mile ahead to make sure nothing's in the road, you might miss the retarded dog that dodges out in front of you - and BAM there's a dead dog in the road and you cry because you didn't mean to kill poor Buster.  ok omm I don't know where that came from.  I just feel kinda in a slump.  There's more to this slump, but I don't want to start anything right now.  I'm not the one who gets mad over unimportant matters.  I just worry about them.  And right when you find your peak of happiness, somebody has to find something to whine about.  I mean seriously // let's all smile =)
